Waiting on Wednesday #7 - The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater

Waiting on Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday is a meme hosted by @ BreakingTheSpine where you share with the world one book that you're anticipating the release of or getting your hands on.

Hello guys, this week's WOW is featuring The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater. I haven't done this in a while because I haven't been reading any books, but I loved the first book SO much that I had to be excited for the last one.. makes sense right?  I also haven't continued on with the series yet, so feel free to flood the comments with how much you love this series so I can get it done already! Encourage me guys..

The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater
The Raven King (The Raven Boys #4)
Expected Date of Release: 26th of April 2016

I'll include the synopsis for the first book for this one so I could refrain from spoiling the series for anyone who hasn't read it yet, including myself.

Synopsis

Every year, Blue Sargent stands next to her clairvoyant mother as the soon-to-be dead walk past. Blue never sees them--until this year, when a boy emerges from the dark and speaks to her.

His name is Gansey, a rich student at Aglionby, the local private school. Blue has a policy of staying away from Aglionby boys. Known as Raven Boys, they can only mean trouble.

But Blue is drawn to Gansey, in a way she can't entirely explain. He is on a quest that has encompassed three other Raven Boys: Adam, the scholarship student who resents the privilege around him; Ronan, the fierce soul whose emotions range from anger to despair; and Noah, the taciturn watcher who notices many things but says very little.

For as long as she can remember, Blue has been warned that she will cause her true love to die. She doesn't believe in true love, and never thought this would be a problem. But as her life becomes caught up in the strange and sinister world of the Raven Boys, she's not so sure anymore.

PS, I reviewed this first book if you'd like to check it out, you can HERE

What are YOU waiting on? I'd love to know!

  2. Ooh, this one has been ALL OVER Twitter lately. I've read Maggie's Shiver series (in fact, I got to meet her a few weeks back and got Sinner signed!) but I haven't gotten the chance to delve in to this series, yet. I guess I may as well wait until I can marathon read them back to back, lol.

Lovely blog! Followed via BL and Twitter!

  8. This book is going to be the death of me! I am so anxious to read this and find out what happens to Gansey once and for all. Although, my poor heart may not survive the outcome. Sigh. I've had my signed and doodled in copy ordered for months.
I hope you enjoy reading the rest of the series.
Thanks for stopping by My WoW earlier.

  11. I seriously have to continue this series. I read The Raven Boys back in 2014, and I was SUPPOSED to read all the released books BUT who knows what happened. It was amazing, so I'm really excited to see how everything plays out. Maybe I can catch up before it's release!

Okay nvm, I just seen the release date. Atleast I can get Dream Thieves read by then haha
