UPDATE: I'M BACK!

This feels so strange, I'm blogging again wow..

Hello guys! It saddens me to a great extent that I haven't been writing/blogging. Here are my reasons..

1.  College
It's a tough experience to be honest, I never thought college would be this exhausting. I already miss school and I'm just halfway through my first semester hahaha

2. READING SLUMP
I have been in the most terrible slump anyone will ever know. I haven't been reading since September and it is killing me. I got the urge to get up and read yesterday because I've greatly missed the feeling of being transferred into a new world (especially the world of Percy Jackson as I'm currently reading the 3rd book in the series). I picked it up and I haven't even started it yet, but soon after I finish writing this post, I will.

3. Lack of motivation
My motivation and my spark for blogging has faded a little bit over the past 3 months and I don't even know why. I didn't feel like blogging and I would hate for it to feel like a chore, because to me blogging is a way of connecting with others who share the same hobby as I do and it's a way of expressing how deeply I love books through writing, which I also adore.

I will be sticking to a schedule throughout December and I'll be blogging/reading *fingers crossed*. I will even start reviewing books and catching up with my review copies. Another blog post will also be up on Wednesday (because I post on Saturday and Wednesday) which will be my December TBR.

I'm sorry for being MIA guys, but I'm back and I'm so happy about it! Please leave me in the comments down below some books that you've read and you think that they'll pick me out of my slump. (Preferably books under 400 pages)

Thank you so much for understanding and sticking around! Have a great day guys.♥

  1. JAAAAY!!! *tackle hugs you* YOU'RE BACK! ♥
I can't even express how much I've missed you and how happy I am that you're finally back!

It seems like you have a lot going on right now, so don't worry too much! I've you're not up for blogging or reading ... well, whatever. There are other things you can still do. It's of no use if you "force" yourself, just wait, I'm sure you'll be in the mood again sometime and then we'll be here, waiting for your posts, haha. :D

  2. Welcome back! It's so hard to blog with school, I have no idea how you do it with college. Reading slumps are the worst, that's usually when I'm most productive as a blogger though xD A lack of motivation or inspiration is always tough to overcome. You get through it eventually though! Glad to see you're back :)

    1. THANK YOU RACHEL! I know right? I honestly don't know especially that I'm adapting to the college lifestyle, it's so hard. SAME, but if I didn't have any assignments to do, I would be productive, but I have tests almost daily so I'm getting used to it. Thank you again, it's so good to be back♥

  4. Jumana! You're alive!!!
Sorry to hear how tough college is. I hope it will get less busy as you go on.
As for a book for getting out of your reading slump, you could try The Accident Season or Lips Touch Three Times. Lips Touch is three short stories by Laini Taylor and I loved them all.
Looking forward to hearing more from your blog again! :)

    1. SABRINA! Yes I am hahaha
It really is and thank you :(, I think I'll adapt to the situation soon, but it came too quickly like I wasn't ready for college and here I am being pushed into it. I had my eyes on The Accident Season for so long now and I definitely will check it out soon. Do you have reviews up? I'd love to know your thoughts.
Thank you so much for stopping by♥
