5 facts about yours truly..
1. I'm 18 and still don't have a licence.. yet
2. I still don't know what I'll do with my life (concerning college). I also get extremely anxious thinking about the future or planning things in general. They stress me out and I like being spontaneous. On the other hand, I'm a very routine-ish person & that doesn't bother me at all and I rarely ever get bored.
3. Shopping is therapeutic for me, I don't know what it is, but the feeling of buying new clothes or stuff and using them makes me feel great. Also buying books, because of course.
4. I don't work and never have in my whole life (except for that one time when I worked for my father when I was a kid hahaha), I actually would LOVE to work, but I don't know what or where. I'm going to work at a nursery pretty soon for the summer & I hope it works out :)
5. When I was little, I used to buy whichever shampoo is being advertised on tv because the model would always have silky smooth and straight hair afterwards. I have naturally wavy hair, so I wanted to be like them. I reached a point where I applied shampoo to my hair when it was dry like they do on tv to have straight her. It was my biggest let down when I knew that they're just faking it.. I know

Thanks for the nom! It's funny that you find shopping therapeutic and I find it to be the most anxious activity ever hahahaha especially clothes. However, buying books is very relaxing for me; not so much for my bank account hahaha
ReplyDeleteAnd oh, we all have believed commercials. Now there are just a joke
Awwk! Thanks for the nomination!! :D Ads lie, don't they? Gee, it's so rough and mean of them. *heavy sigh* I don't know what I want to do with my life and I'm 21 >_< so you're not doing too bad, hehe.
ReplyDeleteThanks for nominating me!
ReplyDeleteI am also 18 and without a license, and I haven't worked either, so you're not alone in that!
Also, when I was younger I was scared to use mouthwash because of Listerine ads, which I can't really describe - you can watch it if you want though (https://youtu.be/ZKr-2odieeA?t=20s)
So, you're not the only one to take ads literally!
Aww, I think your wavy hair is awesome. My hair when I was younger was really long and straight. My sister had curly hair. I desperately wanted curly hair. Then once I chopped it off it got wavy. Go figure lol.
ReplyDeleteI don't have my license yet either. I need to get it ASAP, but I don't know what is about getting it that's stopping me. Maybe is fear or maybe it's laziness. The idea of college and the future are exciting things, but they're also daunting. I think that's the beauty of tomorrow, you're simultaneously scared, anxious, but excited.
Aww thanks for the nomination!! I don't have my license yet, either :) Shopping is so therapeutic, I love it. I get anxiety when people ask me about college too. I'm just so nervous!! Congrats on the award <3
ReplyDeleteRachel @ A Perfection Called Books
Thank you for nominating me, sweetie! ♥
ReplyDeleteI also don't have a license and I'm already 22, so don't worry, haha. It's just that I don't need it here in Austria because our public transport system is pretty good and having a car would cost more than I could ever use it.
And I totally can relate to #2. So much. I still don't know but I'm aiming for a job as a secretary/in a bureau right now because working with animals (what I always wanted) isn't that easy ... *sigh*
