Hello beautiful human beings of the internet!
Firstly, I apologize for not posting anything lately. My internet has been broken and it's now fixed.
So today, I decided I'd bring you my 2015 reading resolutions :)
- Reading Resolutions:
1. Start More Series
This year, I want to start more series that I'm extremely late on starting like the Mara Dyer series. I need to really catch up on my series and I'd like to see what the hype is about.
2. Start the Percy Jackson series
As I said before, I'm late on my series haha, and I need to start reading this series as soon as possible. Besides, they should be fast-paced and action-packed.
3. Read 50 Books This Year
I decided not to go overboard with my Goodreads reading challenge this year, I want reading to be more of a "take your time with it" kind of thing, not a compulsory task to fulfill a challenge. I want to allow myself some time to absorb the books well and have my fun.
4. Dive into Diversity
One huge thing this past year was reading more LGBT books, I haven't really jumped on the bandwagon and I'm ashamed of it. It will be fixed soon, no worries! :)
5. Memoirs, Memoirs, Memoirs..
I've been meaning to read memoirs for so long now, ever since Paige Rawl's Positive. Am I right? Haha
I've written 2015 reading resolutions on Google and this one popped up. It's from PopSugar. Let's try conquering such a challenge, I really want to!
- Blogging Resolutions:
1. Post More Frequently
Please accept my apology, I haven't been posting much lately. I don't want blogging to feel like a task, it's so fun and I love writing posts haphazardly.
2. Book Reviews
Reading more books lead to writing more reviews, I plan on doing so..
3. Blogging Ideas
I need your help on this one guys, please comment down below some blog post ideas, I'm out of these and I want to do more things on my blog! :) HELP ME PLEASE
Have a nice day guys!
- Jay
This sounds like a lot! I hope reach all your goals and I wish you luck with you're reading challenge.
ReplyDeleteI nominated you for an Award called Infinity Dreamer award
http://perksofbeingreaders.blogspot.com/2014/12/infinity-dreams-award.html
Really? I thought it was not much at first, compared to everyone else..
DeleteThank you beautiful! :)
Aww THANK YOU SO MUCH! I love awards <3, I'll check it out right away
Happy New Year Jay!! This review is so sweet, your resolutions are much more ambitious than the ones on my blog... I only did 4 ^_^ If you're looking for LGBT books David Levithan does some really great stories :3 I thought they were so sweet :D 'Everyday' is a really interesting one because he does not give the character a gender.. it's a bit strange to read at first but I loved it just as much, if not more, than reading straight fiction :3
ReplyDeleteWhen it comes to new blog ideas, why don't we do some kind of collab? That would be super cool :o
Anyway Jay, whatever you do, I'm always in full support, I've love love loved you this year so I'm sure next year can only get better :D
Evie x
I'm also taking part in Popsugar's reading challenge! I love that it's not too restrictive - there will always be plenty of books to choose from for each challenge. Have you decided which books you'll read?
ReplyDeleteI wish you the best for all of your reading challenges and for 2015 in general :-D I'm looking forward to catching up with your blog!
Okay, I also should read number 1 and 2. They've been on my TBR list since forever and everyone says there so, so good but I never got around reading them ... I guess I should finally do it this year!
ReplyDeleteI really love all your resolutions and you can cleary see that you gave it a thought! Your blogging resolutions are something I want to do too - especially the one with the ideas. I'm terrible and so uncreative. *sigh*
But to answer the Iron man gif ... YES, you did okay! Actually better than just okay - your blog is amazing and you write great posts, so keep up the good work! :D
Happy New Year Jay! :D
ReplyDeleteThese resolutions sounds fun. Specially Popsugar's 2015 Reading Challenge. I think I might give this a go. I was debating whether to make one or not, but ended up deciding not to because I never actually accomplish them D:
