If you haven't read the first book of this series, please go here to check my review. This review will spoil the first book for you. If you have read Obsidian, you can go ahead and continue reading this review.
Goodreads:
Being connected to Daemon Black sucks…
Thanks to his alien mojo, Daemon’s determined to prove what he feels for me is more than a product of our bizarro connection. So I’ve sworn him off, even though he’s running more hot than cold these days. But we’ve got bigger problems.
Something worse than the Arum has come to town…
The Department of Defense are here. If they ever find out what Daemon can do and that we're linked, I’m a goner. So is he. And there's this new boy in school who’s got a secret of his own. He knows what’s happened to me and he can help, but to do so, I have to lie to Daemon and stay away from him. Like that's possible. Against all common sense, I'm falling for Daemon. Hard.
But then everything changes…
I’ve seen someone who shouldn’t be alive. And I have to tell Daemon, even though I know he’s never going to stop searching until he gets the truth. What happened to his brother? Who betrayed him? And what does the DOD want from them—from me?
No one is who they seem. And not everyone will survive the lies…

THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS
I have two words for you; Daemon Black. How is Daemon so freaking attractive? The whole time I was reading this, I was reminded of Damon from Vampire Diaries but with piercing green eyes.
At first, I really thought Blake Saunders was a good guy. As the story progressed, I couldn't trust him anymore and I knew that there was something extremely wrong with him.
Will on the other hand was shady and when he kept staring at her, I knew something was up with him. I thought he was involved with the DOD in some way, but I felt so bad for Kellie; her mother.
POOR POOR ADAM, he was my favorite and he didn't deserve that. I can't believe how Dee finally had him and in a second, she lost him again. The notion is overwhelming and sad, I loved them together. I don't think Dee would ever forgive Blake for what he did.
I DIDN'T EXPECT THAT ENDING! Dawson is alive and well. This made me so happy! I believe that the have put themselves in a huge trap, but we'll see where things go in Opal..
If you've read these books, please comment down below which one was your favorite. Don't spoil me, thank you. :)
Have a great day everyone!
